Andrew Brown; gift 2023 to NGA. [1] See email from Dénis Dervieux from 5 September 2023 indicating his purchase of the plaquette from Drouot about six months before he sold it to Alain Edrei (NGA curatorial file). Given the Edrei inventory number, 169, painted in red on the verso, this was likely around 2010, since Edrei inventory number 165 was acquired on 20 May 2010 according to the 2023 Morton & Eden sale catalogue (no. 32).
